The categories of unlawful acts are:

* Felony Violation
* Felony Restorable Violation
* Felony Misdemeanor
* Restorable Violation
* Misdemeanor

Intent:

To define categories of unlawful acts and corresponding law enforcement response.

If new categories are discovered, they should be added to this proposal.

Discussion:

With the understanding that punishments can vary according to the crime, these categories set the minimum or maximum punishment or the type of law enforcement response.
