Proposal:

All students should have an opportunity to learn essential art education.

Discussion:

Art education includes learning techniques to draw, paint, build, and arrange and also using one’s imagination and learned skills to create something new or express oneself.

Art education should also include viewing and interpreting art created by other people, including people from a variety of cultures around the world.

Students who are interested in achieving more should have an opportunity to study notable artists and to learn and practice advanced techniques.
