Mathematics is the study of measurement and manipulation of quantities and sets using numbers and symbols.
All students should have an opportunity to learn essential mathematics needed for personal finance and home economics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, basic geometry, and more. Students who are interested in achieving more should have an opportunity to learn more advanced mathematics such as geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics, and to test their skills in competition.
